Biography

Born in Tacoma, Washington, Aaron Wallis lived in Virginia and California for most of his life, before eventually settling in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. During adolescence, Aaron reluctantly succumbed to an evangelical Christian upbringing, His father worked for television evangelist Pat Robertson. He graduated with a BFA in Painting & Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. Aaron specializes in Silkscreen, Lithography, Intaglio, Letterpress and Woodcut. A recipient of a 2014 Visual Arts Fellowship from the Wyoming Arts Council, Aaron exhibited in the 2015 Wyoming Art Council Biennial. Aaron was one of the founders of the Teton Artlab in Jackson Hole. He also teaches printmaking and frames pictures. Aaron is a Taurus who enjoys long walks on moonlit beaches. His interests include philosophy, literature, fine cuisine, biking, snowboarding, cycling, yoga, pornography, narcotics, and sarcasm.
